Nelayan laut dalam

Assalamu'alaikum semua.

Saya kembali setelah lama menyepi. Harap semua sihat lah ye.

Banyak pengalaman yang nak diceritakan kat sini.Nak berkongsi dengan semua.

Sminggu yang lepas, saya berpeluang ke laut (baca: offshore) selama 5 hari naik platform. It was great experience.

Kami berkumpul di jeti seawal jam 5.30 pagi. Kami perlu naik bot untuk ke platform di tengah-tengah lautan. Perjalanan mengambil masa approximately 3 hours.

Since it is my first time, I need to consume seasick pill. Once eaten, you will doze off for 2 hours.

Once arrived at the platform, we need to swing from boat to the platform using the swinging rope. It is very challenging during rough tides, since you need to have good timing to swing or jump from the boat to the platform.

It was like a big aquarium with various types of fish beneath the platform. It is so cool looking at the fishes swimming happily by just follow the flow of the current.

I learnt a lot from this site visit. Alhamdulillah. ;)

Being on the platform makes me love my job. It gave clearer picture on my job. I love my job. May Allah bless my job and others.

Since the living quarters at the platform were fully occupied, we need to do daily trip from jetty to platform. We finished our job at 5 pm and arrived at the jetty at 8pm.

Begitulah kehidupan sehari-hari orang yang bekerja di laut.

Syukur diberi peluang untuk bekerja. :)
