Pepohonan rimbun

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Alangkah gembiranya rasa hati
jikalau dapat melepaskan lelah
sekembalinya dari tempat kerja
di gazebo yang dikelilingi pepohonan rimbun
sambil menikmati angin petang sepoi-sepoi bahasa.

Ditambah dengan jeritan keriangan
Sekumpulan si kecil
bermain baling selipar
Tidak endah dengan kondisi kaki
yang dikotori debu-debu pasir tanah.

Melihat pepohonan rimbun
ikut beralun mengikut rentak
angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa
Ke kiri ke kanan,
Tanda zikir makhluk pada Yang Esa.

Bunch of people

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Walking through the bunch of people
Some souls chasing after time
Some souls asking for directions
Some souls persuading their kids.

It hypnotize me.

Looking at the bunch of the people
Some souls heading back to their home
Some souls gazing at the beautiful mannequin
Some souls adjusting their camera lens.

Beautiful creatures.

Seeing bunch of people's life
Makes me looked back at my story-line
I feel blessed with all the things happened
Because He knows the best
Alhamdulillah.

Inspired while waiting for my uncle.

Sound of The Rain

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Drip drip.
Sound of the rain
Falling on the tin roof
Becoming the lullaby song
To the dead to the world.

Sound of the rain
Gloomy day for fishermen
Aquatics another day of joys.

Sound of the rain
Magical curve drawn on farmers' face
The land greets them with open arms.

Sound of the rain
Can make people anxious over flood
Can make people grin seeing rainbow.

Sound of the rain
Sound of nature
Appreciate while it is still raining
As we never knew
When the Earth is drying.

(Created on 24th April 2012 while listening to the sound of the rain)

Have you read the Al-Quran today?

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Happy Friday my dear friends.
Friday our Sayyidul ayyam (The master of all days).

Have you read the Al-Quran today?

The rainbow Al-Quran image I got from here and edited by myself

Just a friendly reminder from me to you my dear friends and myself.
Read a page of Al-Quran a day instead of having an apple a day.
Let's make it as a habit.

p/s : We can do it right? As we are ummat Nabi Muhammad saw. :)

The Untold Story

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Flipping through the diary
Reading at a normal pace
Reminiscing the good old days
Smiling widely.

The sad stories
Written with teary eyes
The happy stories
Eagerly written for pages.

Sometimes it's hurt
Sometimes it's worth smiling.

Everything seem to be the untold story
For the girl to be heard
For the boy to be understood.

Until the last page
The story seems to be ended
At a point that we don't even know.

Enjoy it while it lasts
Because it never does.

For the untold story
Mum's the word
As the world is not always
The stage for a storytelling contest.

Imperfect

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

People said,
Everything happens for a reason,
Sometimes the reason is undefined.

People said,
What goes around comes around,
Sometimes it confuses me.

People said,
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
Sometimes the eye is not the beauty judge.

People said,
Love the one who loves you,
But who want to start loving first?

Life is about being imperfect,
to the world of imperfection.
There's no need to be perfect,
when the flow itself is imperfect.

Little mind stop thinking complicatedly,
Start 'enjoying' life to the fullest,
As Jannah is the final destination,
Being 'perfect' in the eye of HIM.

p/s : Don't read directly, as the meaning is not in the words.

Truly a beautiful life

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Source : Mr Google

Lie down on the bed
Crossing hands on the head
Listening to the clicking clock
Waiting patiently to the answers
Hoping to own a time machine.

Walking down the empty road
Time become slower and slower
Passing through the graffiti wall
Hoping to see someone
Waiting at the end of the road.

Dancing jovially
As if the world is hers
Until the ballet shoes worn out
Ironically, at the back of her mind
Loads of problem waiting to be solved.

Glancing around
Spot violet tulips
Dancing to the rhythm of wind
Birds chirping the song of life.

It is all alive
For she needs to move on
Leaving the past
Facing the present
Anticipating the future.

Truly a beautiful life.

Paper cutting #1

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Mr. Wikipedia said that paper cutting is the art of cutting paper design. The art has evolved uniquely all over the world to adopt to different cultural style. It is said that, the paper cutting is started during China. Most of the people with access to paper cause such an art were usually nobles in royal palaces. Click here to read more about paper cutting.

I found out about this paper cutting thingy while blog-walking at Azura's blog. If I'm not mistaken, I've learnt about this paper cutting during primary school. Forgot already. Hence, I give it a try by started finding the video about paper cutting in YouTube. I followed the instructions in her video.

Another information.
Paper cutting can also be known as Kirigami. It is a variation of origami that includes cutting of the paper. In Japanese, kiru = to cut, kami = paper. Kirigami starts with a folded base, which is then cut, cuts are then opened and flattened to make the finished kirigami. Extracted from Wikipedia.

And this is my first kirigami after a long time not doing some paper cutting.

Folded paper

This is not magic. :)

My humble kirigami

Mind the low quality of the pictures. Oh another information I would like to share with you is the meaning of origami. Ori = folding, kami = paper. Yes, kirigami and origami are brothers. For me, kirigami is simpler than origami. What say you?

p/s: Nak isi masa lapang? Cubalah kirigami. :)

My danbo

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Danbo is a character from a manga called Yotsuba&! (click here for more information). The name Danbo is a pun on Japanese word for corrugated cardboard danboru. If I'm not mistaken, I started to fancy Danbo when one of my friends posted the picture of the Danbo in facebook. Usually, people make the Danbo as the main character of quotes or situation. After quite a while googled about the Danbo, I've taken an initiative to make Danbo on my own.

The template of the Danbo I've got from DeviantART. I've printed the Danbo's template on A4 paper.

1) Preparation
Before started make sure that you are occupied enough with the stationeries

2) Glued the A4 paper to a manila card
To make it firm

3) Danbo's part close up
Without the joints

4) Fold
Using the glue

5) Assemble
Without gluing it to each other

Finally, my Danbo dah menjadi, ada lah sikit rupa Danbo tu kan? My Danbo is not a moveable one since it doesn't have joints. That's all for Danbo day. Try lah! You can search video of making Danbo in youtube to get a clearer picture.

p/s: I've given my first Danbo to my liltle sister. Hopefully, she can glue the parts to each other.
