In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
12th July 2006
The picture above is my keroppi, birthday present from my lovely mother. I've got this present after registering in UTP.
Back to that day, I'm in blue baju kurung and pink shoes arrived late at the Chancellor Hall for registration. At that time, I met Aimi (specky girl wearing blue baju kurung), my first friend in UTP. During the registration process, we need to queue up to collect the MAS t-shirt, UTP bag and other things that I couldn't remember. After that, I need to check in hostel. Since we arrived late, I had to stay in the room at the fourth floor which is the highest floor with a Kelantanese roommate, Amiza. Second UTP friend during that time. When everything settled, I bid farewell to my family with my swollen eyes. I just cried my lungs out since it was the first time I was being apart from family for hundred miles. I became a crybaby for almost one year (fortunately I'm only in Tronoh Perak, not Toronto Canada).
Since then, I started my life in university step by step. Foundation was the worst season for me. I started to be serious in the first year until the final year. And even, we had to add one semester because of the amiss system. Although we couldn't accept it, but we struggled until the last paper.
16th October 2011
After a storm, the sun will shine again. It may be a few minutes later, a few hours later, or even a few days later. But it will always happen. And it's true.
On 16th October 2011, the sun was shining beautifully. The time for us to be awarded for all the hardships that we have gone through. It was a great feelings. It was a great moment. Wearing the robe, the mortarboard and the hood. Walking with pride into the Chancellor Hall. It was a blessing. My mother had given me the second keroppi wearing mortarboard and it marks the finishing line of my degree life.
Uniquely, my life in UTP started in Chancellor Hall and finally ended in Chancellor Hall with the same color of clothes.
(5 years, and 2 months)
The world is round and the place may seem like the end may also be the beginning. And the graduation is the mark of the beginning of my life to the next phase. Hoping for the best.
May Allah ease our journey of life, friends!
